A friendly reminder to artists who are tired of Adobe bullshit: not only there are Clip Studio and Procreate, but there is also free of charge, open-source Krita. With the current Krita features, I'd argue that it's actually better than Photoshop (for artists, at least).

I'm fascinated by the Vlad Vexler's thought that whatever Putin is doing, it leads to destabilization of the regime. It immediately reminded me of black holes: no matter where you try to move away from singularity, you can't escape meeting it once the event horizon is crossed, since both the time and space dimensions converge in a single point.

I've been thinking: Kenshi is very similar to 4x games, but with a slight modification to the formula:

I think that's pretty accurate. You can't get anything done until you are able to survive, and learning how to deal with all the bull Kenshi throws at you is the most invaluable skill you'll need to pick up.

I've been feeling weird after seeing photos of the recent bombing of my city; specifically, photos of our olympic pool "Meteor". That's my childhood right there. I was training to be a pro swimmer for like 7 years. I eventually dropped out; but it's still my childhood.

I love how useless the 'Relationship' tab is on Plurk. I feel like, by today's internet UI standards, it's super outdated. But it also gives off that nostalgia for older SMs. And on Plurk what you end up with are a bunch of widowed divorcees in complicated relationships
