I know its not trendy to admit and antithetical to my usual “damn-those-ytdevils” brand of posting, but I love that english orthography is so lingusitically fucked up for being germanic w/ greek and latin loanwords, rather than following rules consistent with romance languages or semitic consonant roots. and i think some people are willfully obtuse over it.
