재벌 (RR: jaebeol; MCR: chaebŏl); 財閥 (Rōmaji: zaibatsu), is a sub-category of the label “conglomerate”. While zaibatsu (財閥) was demolished in Japan, a jaebeol/chaebŏl (재벌) is still embedded in [South] Korea.
