Back home after a few errands. I went to get some stuff from storage, brought more boxes to sis-in-law, then decided to go to an independent fabric store to get flannel for mom. Got another fabric for a summer night gown; initially for me, but I may make it for mom. I'll see with her. (I do have other fabrics I could use.)

I was uninspired to eat more chicken, so I improvised myself a Mexican egg-in-the-hole. So I put two small eggs on a slice of bread (no actual hole, cause cooked in the microwave anyway), added salsa and nacho cheese mix. Now that's more original, and pretty good too!

Up early, almost ready to go; it's today that we get internet at the needlework circle local. Super early rise for me, but I just need to go through the day. And then finalize the stuff for the Caledon Spring Fling. Ok, it's going to be a long day. Have a great one, everyone!

About the cat door, I decided to make my own. With a few planks, some insulation, and a regular cat door (maybe I'll have Onyx chipped, and get one of those doors that reacts to the chip; not sure I'd even be able to put a collar on her), so that other cats and animals won't get in. And with the insulation, I could leave it there year-round.

Ah well. It was hinted at yesterday, but I woke up to the news one of our most popular singer-songwriter has died. He had a long, successful career, but though I liked some of his songs, I was not a big fan. So I expect to hear his songs whenever I'll open the radio for a while. Still wishing sending condolences to his family and fans.
