Oh, the preposterousness of life in a pandemic. I could not check out a library book because my library card had expired. Okay, how do I renew? The only way to renew is to go to the library and show a photo ID. Um... no thank you? However!

I was able to obtain an ecard (not available in my name because I already have a library card account) in Finny's name in about 90 seconds and check out the book. So yes, my dog now has a library card and I currently do not.

He can only check out electronic media. Unless he goes in with a photo ID to convert the ecard to a physical card. But that's okay, we want ebooks anyway.
