Haha, oh man. That's pretty great. I missed most of the HxH rpers because I started rping him long before the anime reboot. During the hiatus of doom.

That's about when I picked it up, too. MoM was lucky to have a bit of a cast! But the Gon and Killua dropped out really early which is part of why I didn't stay long with Kurapika. Bad timing.

My manga is in storage (and I only have the first 10 at that) so, anime it is for me

I never did get around to watching most of the reboot. But what I saw was good save for one early episode that they butchered for the sake of making Gon more of a shounen hero.

That's one of the things the original anime did right. They understood the atmosphere of the Hunters Exam enough to make a filler that doesn't feel like filler.

But, eh, it's one episode. Not that big of a deal.
