if this karma thing isn't one of the reasons Plurk hasn't caught on with a lot of educators.

I froze it a while ago and now I can ignore it. I agree with joebjr that the karma may be a turnoff for some.

otherwise why wouldn't more folks move from Twitter? It's so much easier to follow a conversation on Plurk.
