why do these novels find their ways to me?

hindi ko din alam eh.. the first novel na hindi ko kinaya sa inis ay "the good earth" ni pearl s. buck.

The Good Earth! Kawawa lang yung misis nung bida

awang-awa ako sa kanya..
bwiset yung bida.

Isa pang frustrating novel yung The Pearl, haay.

Waiting ni Ha Jin yung binabasa ko ngayon. im trying to symphatize with the "other woman" and the doctor. pero naiinis lang ako.
