Ever try Firefox's FTP addon?
FileZilla for PC, Fetch for Mac
I guess I like the interface of Fetch better than FileZilla, but that's my personal thing.
For command line interface, Terminal is what our guys are using, so I can't imagine a better alternative.
I use secure ftp 2.5 on my mac. Fireftp keeps crashing my firefox after upgrading to 3
I use Fireftp on Firefox 2. My usual browser is Safari. I just launch FF2 when I need to do ftp work.

i've never had a prob with filezilla
I had problems with filezilla before. My speed was being throttled.
