The L$ is losing a lot of value right now, I wouldn't blame stores for raising prices at this point

It was 256 a while ago, now at 254, so it went down a bit, but that may be just because its night time/low volume.

People aren’t buying that much lindens now that they can get it for free

Kittyrevolver: There are 2 charts on the LindeX, the buy and the sell rate. Sellers want that rate low, they want to give less lindens for 1 USD, and buyers want that rate high so they get more for less money.
LL giving people money is not the entire story of why L's selling rate is going up, it's just a small piece of the bigger picture, RL Economy, fewer users in SL, more designers than ever... etc
Yeah, as I said above, there is a lot against the SL economy rn. It's not looking great currently. It may turn around if LL can step in but idk at this point
I dunno, people have been predicting the end of SL forever. The world is in chaos right now and the lindex is reflecting that

Of for sure, I don't want to seem like a doomer about SL. It never seems to die lol, but I think it's mixed in with other feelings I have right now about what I do in general
