when I get one of those 'x position fully on-site for x amount' (usually 19 hourly) I respond with: "Sounds good, unfortunately that is my remote rate, my hourly on-site rate is $25", done this twice now, haven't heard anything back

likewise the: "Pls install this sketchy chat app (usually Signal, sometimes another one, rarely microsoft teams but with a sketchy link in the text) and add the hiring manager to discuss [position]" with no mention of pay rate or company or anything else it's just: "I'm sorry what company is this?" (alternately: "When did I apply to this position?")

haven't gotten responses on any of those, either

so I guess maybe I'm only wasting my own time but eh

and so many texts/emails thanking me for applying for the Benefits Rep position (I wouldn't) with the AI Team of Sacramento (I definitely wouldn't)
