Republic of Indonesia consists of 34 Provinces with 5 of them have special status: 29 Provinces, 1 Special Capital Region (Jakarta), 2 Special Regions (Aceh for implementing the Sharia law, and Yogyakarta for the Sultanate's constitutional monarchy), and 2 Autonomous Regions (Papua and West Papua for their own MRP).
