I've seen Catching Fire lots of times because I have a lot of feelings about how Finnick is portrayed (mostly very positive feelings though I sometimes get very cranky at the scriptwriters: I adore Claflin)
And it hurts till, because it's right. HE made his choice and it was the right one and it's horrific. But it's important. He took his stand, he chose his side, and he always knew this would happen to him.
