derrallg says I think it is the threaded conversation and as people add comments the plurk moves back to the front of the timeline

teach42 believes that it is somehow easier to type longer comments here. Maybe because of the format, but I don't run out of characters as often.

teach42 Also, emoticons are nice, the ability to create groups (cliques), and a SOLID mobile version.

mcarls I may put the links first! That is what you see since the end part of these "tweets" are hidden until you hover over it.
