too bad most are crap, the good ones are pretty rare and unknown, can't find many good wii games at the big home electronic chains :/
  • Joker
well , when you come here , nintendo wii waits you , ive just got it today
  • Joker
understand ? When you come here , you will have enough fun around this Wii , but i have only 5 kind of sports
  • Joker
tennis , baseball , bowling , golf and boxing
  • Kate loves
her Wii. It's a lot of fun. :-))
  • jason thinks
    it's pretty excellent. it's the first console i've purchased .. um... since i won a PS2
  • jason says
    ... but that's not a purchase, so... i think i bought a PS1 used before that.
  • jason thinks
Nintendo hit the nail on the head when they remembered that the cool old fun games were first and foremost fun.
  • Rosie
agrees with jason about that; old school games are the best!
  • Schwarz says
Super Mario Galaxy is a great game!
  • Schwarz says
But I think they should have used better hardware so the Wii would be able to render in HD...
  • Altreus says
That would have doubled the price of the Wii and made it inaccessible to lots of people
  • Schwarz says
Altreus: No, it wouldn't. Xbox 360 can easily do it and that is cheaper than a Wii
  • Schwarz says
The Wii wouldn't even have to have been as powerful as the Xbox 360
  • Altreus says
Where have you seen an Xbox 360 cheaper than a Wii? :/ here, a Wii is about £160 and an Xbox or PS3 is about £300
  • Schwarz says
An Xbox 360 Arcade which comes with almost the same things as a Wii is 1199 DKK (146 GBP) here and a Wii is 1.684 DKK (205 GBP)
  • Schwarz says
amazon.co.uk sells them for £176.16 (Wii) and £124.99 (Xbox 360)
  • Altreus says
Cor - the prices must have dropped since they were brought out.
  • Altreus says
Probably because everyone who bought an Xbox had it explode and everyone who didn't buy one never will now.
  • Schwarz says
yes, hardware prices tend to drop over a 3 year period...
  • amix
the thing to remember thought is that Microsoft did not earn any money on the Xbox in the beginning - neither did Sony with PS3
  • amix
while Nintendo did. And Nintendo has sold around 50 million Wii's which is close to the sales of PS3 and XBOX360 combined
  • Schwarz says
but the Wii is lots of fun
  • Altreus says
It's like there's a link between whether people like something and whether they'll buy it.
  • Schwarz says
Having both an Xbox and a Wii I must say they each have their strengths
  • Schwarz says
Wii's online system is really simple and close to useless. That is a clear gameplay advantage for xbox...
  • Altreus says
Perhaps - but the main reason we got the Wii was because of the new controller type, since we suck at using classic controllers
  • Mr. Foligno says
amix - I couldn't agree more! I used to be a Sony fanboy because that's what they were all about. Xbox vs PS just put me off..
