Not sure why it is so hard to uunderstand? No matter how pretty your pics are, if you get five clicks/day inviting you probably isn't worth the freebies you (general you) get. Plus, usually a screenshot helps.
I understand it, from a business PoV. If you got a pool of say 50 bloggers for a store/event, you want to get the most out of it. I think a balance is necessary. Hits DO matter, but eh. It shouldn't be all.
I find it fun to use. For example a friend of mine who makes lovely pictures was rejected when she applied for an event because they said she didn't have enough clicks. But a couple of "popular" bloggers that

well there is always a fine line. There are some people out there who say they are bloggers but just take a picture and plop it up, taking nothing into consideration.. all so they can get access to free stuff
