I think that differs for everyone, some ppl love to ps their pictures, some ppl love to take pictures with backgrounds, on sims etc, some ppl just like a whitebox and a posestand
Book covers! ...well, that'd be the goal since I want them to look like there'd be a story involved. In sims or set-up scenes, some ps. Pics come with rambling.
I don't think ppl can really "own" a style picture wise, sure some ppl have really unique ways of putting forth their pics, but if you're just doing a collage, or putting boxes on a big background, you aren't
I wish I could do better "outdoor" type pics, but they just never come out good, so I just get disheartened and irritated, so I leave it to those that can.
you shoudl do what makes YOU comfortable, it doesn't matter what other ppl think in the long run, I'm sure many ppl eyeroll at me for blogging like I do, or the amount I do, but whatever!
I just like taking pretty pictures in the pretty things I get, and I like talking about them. That's about all really. I have no desire to be SL Next Top Blogger or anything. I enjoy what I do.
this is true. I always wonder though - especially how designers would like to have their items viewed as well. I think for me I'll never have a "style" just more of what I feel at the moment and what I like to
I know in the past, I've gotten items because I WILL talk about them. Some designers like it if you say something about the features of something rather than just show it & put where it's from. But I think
I'm not sure thats all gogolita though I understand the scepticism. I think designers like to see people appreciate their stuff and try to do good pics with them. Not all designers are in SL to make bucks.
that's true, I once paid 30k years ago at a charity auction for something, and I heard the designer was badmouthing saying i'll never use it, cos it's not my style, and she wished it had gone to a better home
1. excuse me? 2. do i have to wear something constantly for a year after I buy it for it to be "worthwhile" charity money?" and 3. If you don't like who buys your stuff, don't sell it.
I think there are times that I want more than just to show the items though - I want to evoke emotion and have people be like "Okay...I like that - I want it."
