try BB cream. Some formulas can control oil and protects from drying
  • claudia10 says
    wat's BB cream?
  • claudia10 asks
what's the different/ benefits of mineral makeup? its like so hot these days.
  • WendYღ says
BB cream ehh is like a sunscreen, moisturiser, primer... a lot of things in 1. Korean actresses use it.
  • WendYღ says
Can buy frm Skin Food or online...
  • |||Sylv||| says
i use oriflame giordani gold foundation. has been with it since i was young. it's good!
  • WendYღ thinks
mineral makeup may be suitable for your oily skin. Liquid type foundations may oxidise too fast.
  • claudia10 wants
a compact instead of liquid. so i can plaster it anywhere i am when i need it. :-P
  • claudia10 says
so i just go to skin food and ask for BB cream?
  • WendYღ says
Technically compact is not foundation. :-P It's like compressed loose powder (if I'm not wrong)... but also can lah.
  • WendYღ says
    Your complexion gd mah.
  • WendYღ says
BB cream is liquid type tho. o.O Thought u dun wan?
  • Jurong Girl
there is also rojukiss at watson (i'm using that) as well as the lioelle brand - there is the 8 dollar mini size
  • Jurong Girl
personally i think its good to get sample sizes rather than getting full size.
  • claudia10 is
$8? or is the name of pdt call 8 dollar mini?
  • claudia10 says
yes! sample size is good! esp when I only use makeup like once in a month! haha
  • WendYღ says
Yah molemole's suggestion also gd. Get an oil-controlling makeup base or cream lo.
  • claudia10 says
wah! Got mushroom BB cream! and its soo ex!!
  • Jurong Girl
lioelle has their original BB cream in full size as well as sample size. Sample size is $8
  • Jurong Girl
i have the sample size lioelle, but i dont fancy it very much, I much prefer rojukiss
  • Jurong Girl
oh yes, made of real mushrooms :-P
  • claudia10 says
    rojukiss no sample size?
  • Jurong Girl
i bet a lot of girls are selling away the mushroom bb cream in cozycot or livejournal
  • claudia10 asks
    why they selling? not good?
  • |||Sylv||| says
haha coz oriflame has many brands under the umbrella, claudia10 . mine is the giordani gold "sub-brand"
  • claudia10 says
i don't dare buy makeup from 3rd party leh. cos not sure if used/ if any special ingredients added or not. :S
  • Jurong Girl
Ah, I found one for selling at $39.50 for that mushroom bb cream
  • claudia10 says
damn! i shld have bought while john little was having their 20% off lah! over liao!
  • Jurong Girl
claudia : I guess they are the type who tries once and then dont like
  • claudia10 says
its time for me to register with Fr3b! wahahaha!
  • claudia10 says
rinaz but that's the problem, cosmetics are something personal. even if used only once, its still used. :S
  • Jurong Girl
the one i stated is brand new tho
  • Jurong Girl
ANYWAYS. I prefer my rojukiss than some smelly ole smuchroom
  • claudia10 asks
how much is rojukiss BB cream?
  • Jurong Girl
$39. But please dont fall under the impression that bb cream is a magic cream. Its main function is to heal skin
  • claudia10 says
haha! I know! There's nothing that's magic. I just want to experiment and try. :-) thanks rinaz!

ZA. Trust me and my beauty experience on this. And ZA wasn't my client.
  • Pat Law™ says
MAC too. But MAC works only when you don't powder up for the second time.
  • Pat Law™ says
Because it clogs your skin very badly.
  • Pat Law™ says
ZA is light, with SPF30 which is great.
  • Pat Law™ says
And when you powder up, please make sure you wipe your face clean off previous layer of foundation.
  • Pat Law™ says
Or you'd be clogging your pores, which encourages bacteria to grow beneath, and that leads to acne, black heads, etc.
  • Pat Law™ says
Plus it widens your pores up, so when you squeeze the dirt out, you get open pores.
  • Pat Law™ says
OMG I sound like a bloody woman. Oh wait. I am.
  • Pat Law™ says
This is what working on skincare brands does to you. :-)
  • Jurong Girl
ZA is good brand. Have liked it a lot during school days. Wish they had more colours for darker skin tone tho
  • WendYღ likes
ZA also. Their concealer is THE BEST. Tried a lot of other brands, none beat ZA's one.
  • Jurong Girl
Actually I like Everyday Minerals. Its good for controlling oily skin, but all (true) mineral make up is drying. Thats why I recco using bb
  • Jurong Girl
I donno. Every woman is different. I guess we can all give you recommendations but what works for us might not be the best for you
  • |||Sylv||| says
wah ZA seems so good. not using it though. my boyfriend does! wahaha
  • ѠιѕĥßøƝę thinks
the best part about mineral makeup is that no touch up is needed :-D
  • Jurong Girl
indeed. Lets extol the virtues of mineral mekap :-D
  • Jurong Girl
But then again claudia has dry skin so I really recommend her a good base if she wants to try mineral mekap
  • Mintea says
oily but dry skin. make sure you use a water based moisturiser and oil free foundation. try not to get the liquid ones coz it's not great
  • Mintea says
it literally slides off your skin.
  • claudia10 says
wow!! thanks ladies! And I didn't know ZA is that good leh. Always thought its more suitable for the teens only.
  • claudia10 says
will go search around for bb cream and try to find suitable foundations for me. hope i'll start to cultivate the habit again for makeup.
  • claudia10 says
the thing i hate is the amt of time needed before going out and after coming back. the cleaning back esp! i hate to spoil my skin lah.
  • ѠιѕĥßøƝę says
Cultivating the habit of makeup habits can be expensive :-P
