concerned that this swimming pool pump is using too much electricity -- just checked my hydro usage...

  from the increase in usage, it looks to be about 1000 Watts

  with our hydro cost here, of about 0.15 per kWh, that's about $4/day, running the pump 24 hours a day!!...

  need to maybe try running it only at night -- and cut it back to at most 8 hours a day

  just checking... hate to think that I need to spend like $500 on a more efficient pool pump
