    I would not install applications over wifi. If there is a glitch in the connection, the app won't install completely, will cause problems.

    If you always install from the computer, you shoul dbe just fine.

    I haven't had trouble, but I download to computer, then synch.

    thanks to everyone. I figured that the app issue was related to how they installed the app.

    I went in to buy a Palm pilot...and they talked me in to the ipod touch instead..and then I said...let me think about it, then I heard new

    I agree with your decision of waiting until the new ones are available. I do believe the built-in speaker will make a nice enhancement.

    the wi-fi make them so useful for checking mail.. googling, and work great for Youtube

    Its awesome to pop it up and grab emails quickly, google out fixes.. If I ever get PMOS installed, I can do help desk with it.

    ghutch: The cool thing about the Mac, you can have mac and PC for a few extra bucks. I recommend VMware Fusion

    Recently, Popular Mechanics compared OSes. One interesting outcome.. the Apple laptop ran Vista faster than any PC laptop.

    I've had mine about 2 weeks and has only locked up once. Other than that the experience has been terrific.
