    I wld prefer the HP mini coz of the keyboard size and it is the best looking one.

    but nothing beats the eee pc for being the most affordable though. The big negative thing about it is its linux is very hard to customize

    VERY difficult to update the flash player, VERY difficult to install programs and there are issues in doing video streaming too

    the HP mini is not perfect either. Running Vista on a slow cpu... but if u want something nice and light... guess HP mini is still it.

    if only the next gen of via CPU is released. then can betta support Vista. HP mini got support for bluetooth. Good 4 transferring images

    but seeing as how the specs is similar to the HP Mini but is cheaper, I'm leaning more towards the Acer

    Oh, its listed to cost about $750 sing dollars before GST

    oh, that's still more than the eee pc. I saw that they have the 8GB or the 80GB HDD.

    you can choose for linux which is 8gb or the win xp at 80gb

    xp is not *that* large :-P but they have their own customized linux and i'm worried about not being able to install programs
