twistermc is Sep 04, 2008 08:17PM troubleshooting a Windows XP machine. What's the issue when you turn on the machine and the monitor doesn't do anything.

jon426 says Sep 05, 2008 01:38AM had the same problem earlier today. remove ram, then hold power button while computer is unplugged for 15 secs.
dropcase says Sep 05, 2008 01:36AM also check the connections, not jus to and from the monitor, but the piece that goes into the system, sometimes it gets loose.
