Connie I think, like Twitter, it depends on time you're posting. I've had some tweets/plurks get no response at all.

Connie Plurks disappear off timeline quickly, and if you've been offline a while, you have to hit Mark all as Read because can't catch up.

jayseae says actually the red box means "unread" - when it's dimmed, it means that there are responses.
