    I"ve used the demo they offer. You get 2 free lessons or something like that. I think it works really well

    I use it for Spanish. I think it's quite effective

    It works fairly well for learning languages. The interface is primitive and the price is way too high for each module.

    We used it for French and Arabic. Unfortunately, our old version is crashing on vista, even with compatibility option correct.

    It forces you to use sentences. Arabic uses Arabic alphabet, so you avoid pronunciation errors of English alphabet usage.

    I have used RS ofr Arabic studies, and its good. However I have not completed it, will do further on i9n time

    We are currently using it for French. It's a great tool but I'm just not a linguist, methinks.

    I have to say that I've had to learn 6 foreign languages for work and was not impressed with Rosetta Stone. I used Transparent Language

    well of course i had to actually USE the language so my aims may differ from most

    I was thinking about using it for French, but man the entry cost is WAY too much to try something.

    for french it's a lot better to use "French in Action" by Pierre Capretz. That worked wonders for me
