Thinking about getting rid of all paid movie and other extraneous channels and replacing with an Apple TV - thoughts?

  we love our AppleTV...barely watch regular tv between all the podcasts and the stuff we can buy, etc

  I have one of the newer iMacs and watch podcasts, DVDs and downloads of my favorite TV show from iTunes (have rented movies from iTunes too)

  it's perfect. I don't own a TV though. I also like being able to purchase a TV show from iTunes and not have to watch commercials.
