dazzlindonna says WP gurus: what makes wp admin aware that a new version exists? 1 of my blogs isn't showing "There's a new version avail" msg but it should.

  August 15, 2008 at 18:52 dazzlindonna says i'm positive it is running 2.6. and it shows 2.6 correctly. it doesnt show that 2.6.1 is available. all the rest of my blogs did.

  August 16, 2008 at 08:44 Ζωаяτа Clаuz wonders if WP uses cron to 'detect' if there's a new version available. I bet some hosts only allow one cron job at a time, even a little one.
