Universe what are you trying to teach me by crashing excel, disabling auto-save and not allowing me to save as after 40 minutes of working?

check to see if there are hidden files in the folder. there might be an autorecovery file you don't see

I should have done it sooner than 40 minutes in - but seriously, "excel has disabled auto-save for this file"??? I hate you right now excel

IBM is giving away Symphony which is based on OpenOffice I believe.
