CSouthard says Jul 23, 2008 07:22PM we have a white snowball mic in our classroom. I never did see a blue snowflake. It is cool.
GingerLewman says Jul 23, 2008 07:26PM I use a snowball and LOVE it, but the guy whose workshop I'm in mentioned it to me. He doesn't have one either.
kdumont says Jul 23, 2008 07:26PM Reviews I have seen on it have been pretty positive for a small portable mic. Looking at one myself. Get diff. to haul SnoBall all times.
digimom says Jul 23, 2008 07:29PM I like it. wouldn't call it small. fits in my backpack but it's bulky
EdVentures says Jul 23, 2008 07:37PM we have a full size white snowball mic and if the audio quality is the same, you'll find it to be outstanding! Rich tones, not tinny.
GingerLewman hates Jul 23, 2008 07:37PM hauling the giant snowball. Would LOVE to have a snowflake, but ONLY if it has same quality.
cobannon asks Jul 23, 2008 08:07PM if someone can explain why I would need this mic over a lesser expensive USB mic? Is it more for capturing groups talking?
GingerLewman says Jul 23, 2008 08:09PM SnowBall is GREAT for groups talking. It's sensitive for the right sounds but doesn't seem to pick up wrong sounds. Don't know SnowFlake.
karlyb says Jul 23, 2008 08:58PM I have been toying with getting a Snowball, need to check out the snowflake.
GingerLewman says Jul 23, 2008 10:23PM it's GOT to be easier to lug around than a SnowBall. Jeesh. As long as the quality is good. Will ask on Twitter for review.
GingerLewman says Jul 23, 2008 10:57PM What the heck!? I just went to Twitter to ask and I've been reduced by HALF the number of ppl I follow! and who follow me! wth ever!
mcarls says Jul 24, 2008 12:20PM we just bought the snowball for our podcasting kits for the upcoming year.
GingerLewman says Jul 24, 2008 12:27PM you'll love it! We love ours. I'm checking about snowflake, it's smaller sister.
