    there's 6 flavors of OSX: Home, Pro, Premium, Server, Enterprise. And they all come in one package for $198 ;-)

    the laptop is for my neighbor. and i will neither use vista nor osx. the latter being too much hyped as 'the ultimate'

    never ever install laptops for friends or neighbors. That's what i learned in my career.

    Ubuntu 8 is extremely well done. But i'm old. I dont like to experiment any longer. I have never been more productive than on OSX.
