    mm miso soup! is there a special paste that you need to buy to make it? >_<

    I use red and white miso, but you need bonito flakes and kombu seaweed for the dashi stock. Once you have that you can add other veggies...

    we use shitake mushrooms, then once it re-boils you add your miso and wakame seaweed and anything that doesn't need cooking.

    mmm, miso. We have a dark miso paste right now, but it's a little heavy-flavoured for me
