I have inherited a "Technology Applications" course in my new job. It has two students enrolled (boys in 10th -12th grades).

I've been struggling with what to do with the class - had this idea today. We can learn it together - a great example of learning to learn.

The class she is taking looks amazing - but going to Denver for 10 days is pretty unlikely for me (2 kids under 6 years old).

teaches game design. You need to learn the basics of programming on your own and then work w/ students to make their game ideas happen.

You can't know everything but you should know enough be able to guide your students. Things they will want to do, you won't even encounter.

lizbdavis needs to contact Glenn Wiebe at ESSDACK. He has a website/software application that has been used by schools to create games.
