  • evan says
Oh, plurk has TONS of bugs.
  • Jianjun علي says
Yeah I have the same problem here. And some friends stay in the list although already accepted friendship.

it will update eventually. There's a notice that it will move to the history section in a bit. :-)

evan: The site is still really new. Cut it some slack. It's not *that* buggy. Much more reliable than Twitter :-P
  • JimAyson says
Works fine with me so far
  • Theo says
No matter the friends alert lag, Plurk is way more reliable than Twitter. It's actually **working**! :-D B-)
  • TheNerd says
just wait until Plurker comes out and then there will be a wikid cool client for plurk too :-)

I had the same problem a few days ago. It went away as mysteriously as it came.
  • finucane says
    Never seen that problem before.
  • Robyn says
it'll go away, Plurk fixes have been incredibly (comparatively to Twitter anyway) quick :-)
  • finucane says
besides it's not buggy, its Plurky
  • dspille says
I haven't seen that specific problem. I have noticed some phantom alerts.
  • keane says
I was reformatting friends and did actually add you twice.
  • keane
    Apologies
  • keane
    OR
  • keane
you are so important I HAD to ask you twice.
  • keane
whichever is more ideal to you..
  • thecptrgod
    ivr seen that one too
  • finucane says
That's a good point, Scoble didn't get on Plurk for a length of time so some folks might have tried to friend him more than once.
  • tamar
yup, welcome to plurk!!!! still has nice potential though. thanks for sharing my blog post on your Google Shared Reader this week!

    Long live Scoble :-)
  • kacy says
Scobble, I like you and all, but you have really bitched too much about Plurk. Yes, it has bugs but they are far less than Twitter.
  • JimBob51 says
bug has been here from day one
  • tamar
fyi, you can circumvent that problem by going directly to people's profiles and adding them

omg plurk bugginess echo galore. kacy, speaking of which, every early adopter almost always has doubts about a new service.
  • tamar
...personally, mine's with identi.ca. so what if people bitch about plurk? as long as they listen, that's all that matters, right?
  • tamar
plus, robert wasn't bitching. he was noting a bug that many of us encountered. but people are allowed to bitch. it's called human nature.
  • tamar
    k i'm done bye ;-)
  • thecolor says
you have not added me... so yes, it appears to be a bug.
  • esonline says
Robert, I also wait for the add. Hope Plurk cooperates with you now. The convos threads you'll soon like. (g_drinking)
  • MikeLewis says
if anything you'll be able to expose bugs by allowing for thousands and thousands of friends on Plurk.
  • pamelaweir says
that has happened to me as well.
  • tamar
i think he left. it's sad. plurk is really engaging. i love this community.
  • Griff loves
plurk too... far less buggy than twitter! :-))
  • minmax2k says
Since my first week on Plurk my alerts show a list of about 60 friends with the status "needs to confirm" though they've clearly done so.
  • SomersetBob says
I've seen the odd bug in my friends last. Still no Scoble, though ;-)
  • loaded says
    Erk
  • coolcatteacher says
They have to confirm you before you can "add them" it has to be mutual, I think.
  • HighDef says
yup, that's been around for quite a while.
