CeejayWriter But here's something fun, happening just a couple buildings away from me. I walked down at lunch but couldn't see around the trucks. CeejayWriter shares I rather like that they had no clue it was there - wasn't in any records. CeejayWriter shares To me, this means we could have all sorts of stuff EVERYWHERE. It's nice to have imagination fodder! Tanarian says I heard a story on NPR how a new DC office building is going to have the original buildings moved back inside it when they're done. CeejayWriter shares And for any other archaeology nuts like me... I love that we have our own archaeology TEAM on campus. CeejayWriter shares Tan, REALLY! I need to hunt up that story. GM Nikolaidis what a fun discovery! I hope it leads to more digging around Winona Need someone to dig? sends the little bugger with FedEx CaribouKen I wonder if they'r route the steam tunnel project around this site or just dig it up and move it to a safer location? Tanarian [flails] Why can't I find that story?! CeejayWriter No news yet, other than they think it won't delay the steamtunnel project, but I'm wondering too! CeejayWriter Tan, I appreciate your sleuthing efforts, truly! Linus Lacombe loves discoveries like this! They should do digs like this at my alma mater. God knows, they have bulldozed blocks and blocks of the center of Linus Lacombe town to satisfy the hunger of that institution for more land to pave over with asphalt.
