Qwis I picked up wax from the beekeeper at last Sunday's markets and mineral oil is at the pharmacy.
Qwis 2oz of wax made plenty of wood butter.

CaribouKen Are you using regular mineral oil or food-grade mineral oil?
Qwis says I bought it at the pharmacy where it's meant to be taken internally.
CaribouKen My brother-in-law gave us a cherry wood spoon he made in his wood shop, but suggested we use a food-grade mineral oil.
CaribouKen Next time I see him I'll inquire about the difference between that and what you've mentioned.
